Road and Curb Heights

You use the following icon to change the road height:

The road height is set to 5 when the program starts. It can be reset to a height of -50 to +50 from the original terrain's surface. The following image shows how the road changes between these two extremes. Notice how the road in the right image is much higher than that in the left image. The letter A indicates an area where the mountain has been cut away. The letters B and C indicate areas where there has been much fill:

Compare this to the original terrain and the road at the default height of 5 (labeled modified):

You use the following icon to change the curb height:

The curb height is set to zero when the program starts. It can be reset to a height of -50 to +50 from the road's surface. A little bit goes a long way. In the images below, the curb at A is set at -3 below the road (as seen by the dark shadow to the right of the letter). The curb at B is set to 0 (no shadow between the road and shoulder). The curb at C is set at +3 (the shadow cast by the curve can be seen on the right edge of the road).
